Pune-Ahmednagar Road (Nagar Road)
Pune Ahmnednagar highway (MH SH-27) is abbreviated as Nagar Road. It starts from Yerwada bridge at bund garden and passes through Yerwada, Kalyani Nagar, Viman Nagar, Chandan Nagar up to Wagholi. Road to Pune International Airport off shoots from Nagar Road. A new flyover connecting Wagholi to Shikrapur is proposed on this road which will be of four lanes. Nagar Road houses many hotels, restaurants, Malls, Tech Parks and educational institutes. Various five starhotels such as Maple, Parc Estique, Four Points have come up. Huge malls such as Inorbit and Phenoix Market City are prominent buildings along the highway. It experiences heavy traffic all day around. It links Pune to the city of Ahmednagar.
