Plans

In 2009 the Association of Train Operating Companies identified Brixham as one of fourteen towns for which the provision of a new railway service wound have a positive benefit-cost ratio. This would be an extension of the First Great Western service beyond Paignton to Churston station on the Paignton and Dartmouth Steam Railway, which would then act as a railhead for Brixham. Famous quotes containing the word plans:

When I heard at the close of the day how my name had been receiv’d
with plaudits in the capitol, still it was not a happy night for me
    that follow’d,
And else when I carous’d, or when my plans were accomplish’d,
    still I was not happy,
But the day when I rose at dawn from the bed of perfect health,
refresh’d, singing, inhaling the ripe breath of autumn,
    Walt Whitman (1819–1892)

Make your plans for the year in the spring, and your plans for the day early in the morning.
    Chinese proverb.

In order to become spoiled ... a child has to be able to want things as well as need them. He has to be able to see himself as a being who is separate from everyone else.... A baby is none of these things. He feels a need and he expresses it. He is not intellectually capable of working out involved plans and ideas like “Can I make her give me...?” “If I make enough fuss he will...?” “They let me do ... yesterday and I want to do it again today so I’ll....”
    Penelope Leach (20th century)
