History
Founded in 1916, Riverside Health System was originally established as a small hospital. The health system and each major facility in the organization are governed by a voluntary Board of Trustees of community leaders.
Riverside employs over 7,000 people in over 100 locations in the Greater Peninsula-Williamsburg region and Middle Peninsula-Northern Neck communities of eastern Virginia.
