Rick just published his memoir North of Hollywood on February 15, 2012. Rick says, "For a long time I've wanted to write about the interweaving of show business and the real life that creates the tangled existence of most actors." He says the book has been in progress for years.

Famous quotes containing the word years:

Money itself isn’t lost or made, it’s simply transferred from one perception to another. This painting here. I bought it 10 years ago for 60 thousand dollars. I could sell it today for 600. The illusion has become real and the more real it becomes, the more desperately they want it.
    Oliver Stone (b. 1946)

I do not, like the Fundamentalists, believe that creation stopped six thousand years ago after a week of hard work. Creation is going on all the time.
    George Bernard Shaw (1856–1950)
