Richard Street - Book

Book

According to his website, former lead Richard Street is in the process of writing a book regarding his time with The Temptations entitled "Ball of Confusion" (referring to the song made famous by the group which he did not appear on as he would not join The Temptations until 1971, the year after it was released). If it is published, it will be the 3rd autobiographical account of The Temptations (the first being Otis Williams book "Temptations" and the second being "Ain't Too Proud To Beg" - a collection of remembrances from both Otis, Dennis Edwards, and many others).

Famous quotes containing the word book:

No common-place is ever effectually got rid of, except by essentially emptying one’s self of it into a book; for once trapped in a book, then the book can be put into the fire, and all will be well. But they are not always put into the fire; and this accounts for the vast majority of miserable books over those of positive merit.
    Herman Melville (1819–1891)

I saw three ships come sailing by,
Come sailing by, come sailing by,
I saw three ships come sailing by,
On Christmas Day in the morning.
—Unknown. As I Sat on a Sunny Bank. . .

Oxford Book of Light Verse, The. W. H. Auden, ed. (1938)

When our kids are young, many of us rush out to buy a cute little baby book to record the meaningful events of our young child’s life...But I’ve often thought there should be a second book, one with room to record the moral milestones of our child’s lives. There might be space to record dates she first shared or showed compassion or befriended a new student or thought of sending Grandma a get-well card or told the truth despite its cost.
    Fred G. Gosman (20th century)
