Richard J. McMullen (November 7, 1918 - July 26, 1978) was president of the Olean Lumber Company, which was at one time the largest lumber and millwork company in the western portion of the Southern Tier of New York. He was vice president from 1947–1963 and president and principal owner from 1962-1978. McMullen brought the Cash and Carry concept to the company during his tenure as president. He died from a stroke caused by arteriosclerosis.
McMullen served as a corporal, stationed in New Guinea during World War II.
