Effectors
Each Rho protein affects numerous proteins downstream, all of which have roles in various cell processes. In fact, over 60 targets of the three common Rho GTPases have been found. Two molecules that directly stimulate actin polymerization are the Arp2/3 proteins and the Diaphanous-related formins.
