First Asean IKon Champion -- "Pangako"
On August 17, 2007, Vina Morales won as the First Asean Ikon Champion with her interpretation of Rey Valera's song, "Pangako Sa'yo". The song has been used as a theme song for ABS-CBN's two year-running soap opera TV series, "Pangako sa'yo" 7 years earlier, which was also sung by Vina Morales.
