Remington Steele - Production Notes

Production Notes

  • Every episode title has the word "Steele" in it.
  • At the end of every episode, the MTM kitten "Mimsie" has an animated deerstalker's cap on its head and a meerschaum pipe in its mouth, a la Sherlock Holmes. The pipe falls from the kitten's mouth and bounces twice on the bottom of the screen as it meows.

Famous quotes containing the words production and/or notes:

“Just as modern mass production requires the standardization of commodities, so the social process requires standardization of man, and this standardization is called equality.”
    —Erich Fromm (1900–1980)

“Lap me in soft Lydian airs,
    Married to immortal verse,
Such as the meeting soul may pierce
In notes with many a winding bout
Of linked sweetness long drawn out,
With wanton heed and giddy cunning,
The melting voice through mazes running,
Untwisting all the chains that tie
    The hidden soul of harmony;”
    —John Milton (1608–1674)
