Famous quotes containing the word hills:
“O my soul’s joy,
If after every tempest come such calms,
May the winds blow till they have wakened death!
And let the laboring bark climb hills of seas
Olympus-high, and duck again as low
As hell’s from heaven!”
—William Shakespeare (1564–1616)
“He told of the Magnolia, spread
High as a cloud, high over head!
The Cypress and her spire;
MOf flowers that with one scarlet gleam
Cover a hundred leagues, and seem
To set the hills on fire.”
—William Wordsworth (1770–1850)
