Academic Programs

The College offers four main graduate programs, all ATS-accredited:

Most programs share a common core of courses: Old & New Testament Foundations, History of Christianity and the award-winning Christian Thought & Culture.

Regent is also known for the following lifelong learning opportunities:

  • Summer Programs: one-, two- and three-week courses, as well as a seven-week intensive Hebrew and Greek language program.
  • Evening and Weekend Programs: designed for those with daytime commitments.
  • Distance Education: offers dozens of audio courses, often used by students to start, accelerate, or conclude their degrees.
  • Public Lectures: feature Regent faculty and visiting scholars from around the world. In 2011, Regent began streaming select public lectures via Livestream.
  • Conferences: include the annual Pastors’ Conference (May), as well as the Laing Lectures (October) that have attracted world-renowned scholars like Neil Postman, Albert Borgmann, and Margaret Visser.
  • Marketplace Institute: conducts research into faith in the workplace; offers internships, leadership training, community development, and support for social enterprise.

Other program distinctives include the Anglican Studies Program and the Chinese Studies Program.
