Reflex Epilepsy

Reflex Epilepsy (also known as environmental epilepsy) is the cognomen to seizures which are generated by a person’s acuteness to sensor stimulation caused by the environment. Possibly the best-known type of reflex epilepsy to the general public is photosensitive epilepsy. Reflex epilepsy is also the most uncommon form of epilepsy, is only in generalized (not partial) seizure format, and can be confirmed by EEG and photosensitive testing only.

Famous quotes containing the words reflex and/or epilepsy:

The theatre is the involuntary reflex of the ideas of the crowd.
    Sarah Bernhardt (1845–1923)

We are compelled by the theory of God’s already achieved perfection to make Him a devil as well as a god, because of the existence of evil. The god of love, if omnipotent and omniscient, must be the god of cancer and epilepsy as well.... Whoever admits that anything living is evil must either believe that God is malignantly capable of creating evil, or else believe that God has made many mistakes in His attempts to make a perfect being.
    George Bernard Shaw (1856–1950)
