While anyone can use reflective writing for personal development, the practice is often incorporated into professionalism training for physicians, nurses, teachers, social workers, and others needing to offer more humane and compassionate service to their patients or clients. The underlying assumption is that through the experience of telling and listening to stories, the student becomes more attuned to noticing, listening to, recording, and responding to the stories of patients and colleagues in years to come.

Through the longitudinal practice of reflective writing comes recognition that people's perspectives grow and change. A vector develops: the stories are going somewhere, or they are stuck. Viewed this way, even bad days are not so awful; the writer becomes curious about what comes next. The mindful, reflective stance that develops in clinical training can subsequently be helpful and healing when modeled for patients or clients.

Reflective writing asks the practitioner not only to pull back the lens and observe events, human interactions, and perspectives in the field of study, but also to become more conscious of his/her emotional responses to situations encountered in training and practice, to find metaphors for experiences, and to contextualize observations. When reflective writing is shared in classes and groups, careful listening and provision of responsible, sensitive feedback to fellow students and practitioners is encouraged.Whenever it comes down to the work being performed at school or at work, it is always useful and can never be termed as vague. Every work being carried out has its own way of teaching the individuals. There is some work which is enriched with knowledge and there is some repetitive work with low knowledge. It truly depends upon how an individual gets the work done on time and making the most out of it to learn. This project management class has been very helpful to me since the very first day. I as a student who has always been eager to learn had an amazing time taking the classes. It has always been my priority to learn then to waste time, I can proudly say that by registering for this course, I can personally feel that I have taken a step ahead in life. Solving out case studies is never easy at all. Since everyone has their own point of view that needs to be respected and listened to properly. Since none of us would actually know as to why and under what circumstances were the actual decisions taken, no one could opt with the perfect answer. Although the situation was briefed out in the case study, but never the less it’s just a portrait not the actual picture. We have had immense trouble finding out the actual scenario, and incorporating one answer amongst so many answers is not at all easy. We had several group discussions that would end up quite long discussing the case study, and this did not happen once or twice but quite a few times. Setting up a meeting at a time convenient to all was a challenge in itself, but still we managed to do so. Group discussions are often tiring and restless as they tend to prolong for uncertain reasons but this was not the case on our part. Initially we did have some disagreements over how the work was supposed to be carried out, but later it we managed to cater it successfully. Since it was a group, it was to be made sure that everyone did the work they were perfect at, and looking at our group, we distributed the work accordingly. We assigned the research according to the interest and expertise of our group members. This is the best part about working as a group as the work load can be divided amongst the specialist and this is what I learned the most in this report. What I tend to think earlier on was that work could be done if it was being carried out under the surveillance of good project managers, but I realized that no matter how good or bad the project managers are, it has to be made sure that the work being carried out is supposed to be carried out be specialists as it makes the work easier and the process efficient. Every human being is made up in a different manner which makes it special to carry out certain tasks, and since the capacity of human beings is limited, it is surely not possible at all to perform every task. For a project to be successful, it is important to get the work done by the right man, this is what was taught to us in the case study and this is what I personally analysed from the group working as well. The work only becomes valuable enough if it is completed on time and on the prescribed guidelines. If the project bypasses any guideline, then no matter how good it is, the reason to get the work done becomes useless. Since this era is known to be the era of technology, all of us group members maintained a very good communication process which was very efficient and smooth. All of us group members were available to each other via email and through the phone as well. It was not just that all of us group members would only e connected to each other when we were at college, but we were also available to each other when we were at home, so that any group member could contact anyone without any reluctance. Being connected to each other all the time at college and also at home, was sort of a bonus point and acted as an added value feature to our group work process. This surely helped me and my group members understand the importance of email and an intranet at offices. The communication process is also very important so that the thought process would not stick to one point and become stagnant, it could move on from one group member to another, this is what truly makes the work peaceful. Since it was a group report, and every one played their role brilliantly I would say the work was well done. The essay was written by jasmine in the presence of the entire group, so that everyone was there to share their ideas freely. This is what made the work perfect in its own way as it was not just the hard work of one but of the entire group. Since it was a group work, crediting one would not be fair enough, I would say that the work was valuable in its own way. Every one tried their utmost level to get their job done with perfection but there were some mistakes done by everyone which were rectified by group coordination. This report has taught us in numerous ways and has given us a new platform to learn. Case studies have always been an enjoyment for me, and I think it is pretty much interesting for all. Everyone got to learn in their own manner and utilised their capabilities to give this report an immaculate finishing touch.
