Red Vs. Blue (season 1)
Season 1 of the machinima comedy series Red vs. Blue, began airing April 1, 2003 on the official website, consisted of 19 episodes, and was concluded on September 28, 2003
The series follows the accounts of the Red Team which consists of: The leader, Sarge; the lazy one, Grif; the "kiss ass", Simmons; and the semi-idiotic Donut. The series also follows the accounts of the Blue Team, which consists of their De facto leader, Church; the self-proclaimed ladies' man, Tucker; and the clueless Caboose. The Freelancer Tex is often associated with the Blue Team. Season one regular characters include Sarge, Simmons, Grif, Donut, Lopez, Church, Tucker, Caboose, Tex, Sheila, and Vic.
The episodes were filmed primarily using machinima techniques, and Halo: Combat Evolved. Episodes were written by members of the Rooster Teeth crew. Episodes aired weekly, and were posted on the Red vs Blue website.
