In August 2007, he joined the board of Enersys, the world's largest manufacturer, marketer and distributor of industrial batteries. From 2006-April 2007, he was Chairman and CEO of Foamex International and helped lead it out of bankruptcy. Less than nine months after his appointment, Foamex emerged from Chapter 11.
