Raul Julia-Levy - Jackson Family

Jackson Family

In 2004, Jackson family matriarch Katherine Jackson welcomed Julia-Levy into her Encino, California, home while Julia-Levy was finalizing his permanent move to Hollywood. It was singer, bassist and composer Jermaine Jackson who arranged for Julia-Levy to reside in the private guest quarters of the Jackson estate.

Julia-Levy also lived for six months at Michael Jackson's Neverland Ranch in Santa Barbara County, where Julia-Levy became close friends with Jackson.

"I found Michael to be friendly and the most generous man I have ever met," Julia-Levy said in an interview with Exceptional People Magazine journalist Sharon Raiford Bush. "I'll never forget him singing to me at three in the morning because he couldn't sleep. He loved to talk."

Famous quotes containing the words jackson and/or family:

Racism as a form of skin worship, and as a sickness and a pathological anxiety for America, is so great, until the poor whites—rather than fighting for jobs or education—fight to remain pink and fight to remain white. And therefore they cannot see an alliance with people that they feel to be inherently inferior.
    —Jesse Jackson (b. 1941)

Sometimes I think that idlers seem to be a special class for whom nothing can be planned, plead as one will with them—their only contribution to the human family is to warm a seat at the common table.
    F. Scott Fitzgerald (1896–1940)
