Bernie Rosenthal is an artisan, lawyer, and romantic interest of Captain America in the Marvel Comics universe.
The character, created by Roger Stern and John Byrne, first appeared in Captain America #247 (July 1980).
Within the context of the stories, Bernie Rosenthal is a glass blower and lawyer who has worked with Captain America. She meets him when she is a hostage of The Watchdogs. Over time she became his girlfriend and eventually his fiancé. Eventually she leaves to study law at the University of Wisconsin.
