At the lobby, they are provided with Kiosks, where they use their thumb impression to sign on/sign off.This has removed the need of their signing in registers or remembering passwords. It is very user friendly and easily adaptable by the crew. Also, it has increased security and authentication as it eliminates the possibility of Proxy reporting.It is legally binding. Now BA (Breathalyzer) capabilities are being added to Kiosks.It is very important from the point of view of safety running of the train. Herein, the crew blows from his mouth into the device, and if there is any alcohol content found,a thorough check is done.
