Racecourse only has one 'island platform', and do not indicate which direction the trains are going (e.g. Lo Wu/Lok Ma Chau). Therefore, passengers need to follow directions of MTR staff and the electronic display for the direction of trains which pass Racecourse station every 10–15 minutes.
