However, an evil being known as Gordian has taken a seed of the tree and has planted a Knowledge Tree of his own. Gordian has given some of the seeds to some of the dragons in the land and now, which unfortunate soul who cannot answer any of the dragon's questions correctly will be eaten by them. The King then decides to send out four brave warriors entrusted with the knowledge of the land out to stop Gordian and end his tyranny once and for all.

Famous quotes containing the word story:
“We have defined a story as a narrative of events arranged in their time-sequence. A plot is also a narrative of events, the emphasis falling on causality. The king died and then the queen died is a story. The king died, and then the queen died of grief is a plot. The time sequence is preserved, but the sense of causality overshadows it.”
—E.M. (Edward Morgan)
“A gorgeous example of denial is the story about the little girl who was notified that a baby brother or sister was on the way. She listened in thoughtful silence, then raised her gaze from her mothers belly to her eyes and said, Yes, but who will be the new babys mommy?”
—Judith Viorst (20th century)
“Saving one human life is better than building a seven story pagoda to the Buddha.”
—Chinese proverb.
