Queensland Rail, also known as QR and formerly known as QR Limited before the government selloff of Coal & Freight in 2010, is a government-owned railway operator in the state of Queensland for more than 145 years. Under the control of the Queensland Government, Queensland Rail operates the inner-city and long-distance passenger services, and previous to 2010 freight operations.
