Access
The station has a portal for buses traffic to enter and leave at the northern end of Victoria Bridge, to connect to the Cultural Centre busway station.
The former entry/exit portal (on Albert Street, facing King George Square), from the Queen Street Bus Station, was converted into a tunnel so that the station could be connected to King George Square busway station, which was built (2006–2007) in the lower two levels of the King George Square Car Park.

Famous quotes containing the word access:
“Oh, the holiness of always being the injured party. The historically oppressed can find not only sanctity but safety in the state of victimization. When access to a better life has been denied often enough, and successfully enough, one can use the rejection as an excuse to cease all efforts. After all, one reckons, they dont want me, they accept their own mediocrity and refuse my best, they dont deserve me.”
—Maya Angelou (b. 1928)
“The professional celebrity, male and female, is the crowning result of the star system of a society that makes a fetish of competition. In America, this system is carried to the point where a man who can knock a small white ball into a series of holes in the ground with more efficiency than anyone else thereby gains social access to the President of the United States.”
—C. Wright Mills (19161962)
“Whilst the rights of all as persons are equal, in virtue of their access to reason, their rights in property are very unequal. One man owns his clothes, and another owns a country.”
—Ralph Waldo Emerson (18031882)
