Acorn Pocket Book II
As a successor to its slightly-modified Pocket Book, Acorn also produced a rebadged 3a named the Pocket Book II. This added back some of the applications omitted from the original Pocket Book, so was closer in specification to the standard Psion model. For instance, Psion's 'Agenda' application was replaced, although renamed 'Schedule', and a new Plotter application (graph-plotting software) was added. The Pocket Book II came in either 256 KB, 512 KB or 1 MB variants.

Famous quotes containing the words pocket and/or book:
“The stabbing horror of life is not contained in calamities and disasters, because these things wake one up and one gets very familiar and intimate with them and finally they become tame again.... No, it is more like being in a hotel room in Hoboken let us say, and just enough money in one’s pocket for another meal.”
—Henry Miller (1891–1980)
“I know every book of mine by its smell, and I have but to put my nose between the pages to be reminded of all sorts of things.”
—George Gissing (1857–1903)
