Proton Exora

The Proton Exora is a compact MPV vehicle produced by Malaysian car manufacturer Proton which launched on 15 April 2009. The Exora is Malaysia's first home- grown MPV and is based on Proton's new P2 platform. The Proton Exora later received a facelift in 15 December 2011. It now utilises Proton's new turbocharged CamPro CFE engine and CVT technology for added power and fuel efficiency. The name 'Exora' was inspired from the Ixora flower. 'Exora' was chosen among 251,763 entries by the grand prize winner Norsholihan Binti Abdul Eanich during the 'Name The Proton MPV' competition.
