Famous quotes containing the words pro and/or points:
“It is sweet and honourable to die for ones country.
[Dulce et decorum est pro patria mori.]”
—Horace [Quintus Horatius Flaccus] (658 B.C.)
“Wi joy unfeigned brothers and sisters meet,
An each for others weelfare kindly spiers:
The social hours, swift-winged, unnoticed fleet;
Each tells the uncos that he sees or hears;
The parents, partial, eye their hopeful years;
Anticipation forward points the view:”
—Robert Burns (17591796)
