Priority level or priority, in the Telecommunications Service Priority system, is the level that may be assigned to an NS/EP telecommunications service, which level specifies the order in which provisioning or restoration of the service is to occur relative to other NS/EP or non-NS/EP telecommunication services.
Priority levels authorized are designated (highest to lowest) "E," "1," "2," "3," "4," and "5" for provisioning and "1," "2," "3," "4," and "5" for restoration.
Famous quotes containing the words priority and/or level:
“Weekend planning is a prime time to apply the Deathbed Priority Test: On your deathbed, will you wish youd spent more prime weekend hours grocery shopping or walking in the woods with your kids?”
—Louise Lague (20th century)
“Those who profess contempt for men, and put them on a level with beasts, yet wish to be admired and believed by men, and contradict themselves by their own feelingstheir nature, which is stronger than all, convincing them of the greatness of man more forcibly than reason convinces them of his baseness.”
—Blaise Pascal (16231662)
