Brands & Campaigns
Price Chopper has three corporate-exclusive private label brands: Price Chopper (main brand used on most food products), Price Chopper Naturals (some organic products), and Central Market Classics (upscale brand, used on higher-end foods). Other brands are sourced from Topco Associates, including TopCare (health and beauty products), Full Circle (other organic products not covered by the Price Chopper Naturals brand), Clear Value (value-priced brand, often made using cheaper ingredients), Academix (office and school supplies), Electrix (light bulbs, extension cords, batteries, etc.), and Domestix (cleaning products, storage solutions, etc.)
Since 2007, the company has been using a summer campaign to promote their fresh meats and produce known simply as Price Chopper House of BBQ. Accompanying this campaign, the company has used the slogan "not cooking tonight... we’re grilling tonight" in jingles. The campaign mainly featured jazz musician Melvin Sparks until his death in 2011.

Famous quotes containing the words brands and/or campaigns:
“On the other side, the conservative party, composed of the most moderate, able, and cultivated part of the population, is timid, and merely defensive of property. It vindicates no right, it aspires to no real good, it brands no crime, it proposes no generous policy, it does not build, nor write, nor cherish the arts, nor foster religion, nor establish schools, nor encourage science, nor emancipate the slave, nor befriend the poor, or the Indian, or the immigrant.”
—Ralph Waldo Emerson (18031882)
“That food has always been, and will continue to be, the basis for one of our greater snobbisms does not explain the fact that the attitude toward the food choice of others is becoming more and more heatedly exclusive until it may well turn into one of those forms of bigotry against which gallant little committees are constantly planning campaigns in the cause of justice and decency.”
—Cornelia Otis Skinner (19011979)
