Prashant Tamang (Nepali: प्रशान्त तामाङ) is a Darjeeling-based Gorkha singer and actor. He was the winner of Indian Idol Season 3 in 2007. He is also the first person from the Indian police force to enter the final rounds of Indian Idol.
