Pocket Tunes

Pocket Tunes by Normsoft, Inc. is shareware software used for playing music, Internet radio, podcasts, and other audio files for Palm OS 5 and Windows Mobile 5 or 6. Pocket Tunes supports MP3, AAC, HE-AAC, WMA, and Windows Media DRM files. It also supports MTP for transferring audio files from computers to portable devices, and submission of the played tracks to Last.fm. Pocket Tunes for Windows Mobile includes software for copying files from a computer's iTunes library to the device. The Palm OS version also supports Ogg vorbis and PCM WAV. Pocket Tunes was released for Palm OS on December 5, 2002 and for Windows Mobile on June 2, 2008. Pocket Tunes is included in the ROM of some Palm devices, notably the Palm Centro and many models of Treo. Pocket tunes is available as an application on the iPod Touch, iPhone as well as several apps on the iPad.

Alternatives for Palm OS include RealPlayer (freeware), DioPlayer, The Core Pocket Media Player (mostly free software), and AeroPlayer (shareware).
