Pirates of The Caribbean Online - "Revive" Petition

"Revive" Petition

The game continued on a similar path since its release. However, many players started to notice changes in game play and content release that seemed more negative than positive. The game performance issues such as lag and delays were on the increase as time passed and new content was either lacking or was being added at a very slow pace. Thus, after 4+ years, a group of dedicated individual players started a friendly and peaceful petition asking Disney Interactive Media Group for improvements on all aspects such as game performance, content, cheat blocking, etc. The petition, entitled Revive POTCO officially started on July 29, 2012 and has since collected more than 2600 signatures.

The petition called for improvements on the following aspects:

  • Server Lag and Delay
  • Bugs and Glitches
  • Hacking
  • Customer Service
  • Content

Famous quotes containing the words revive and/or petition:

Old politicians, like old actors, revive in the limelight. The vacancy which afflicts them in private momentarily lifts when, once more, they feel the eyes of an audience upon them. Their old passion for holding the centre of the stage guides their uncertain footsteps to where the footlights shine, and summons up a wintry smile when the curtain rises.
    Malcolm Muggeridge (1903–1990)

Clay answered the petition by declaring that while he looked on the institution of slavery as an evil, it was ‘nothing in comparison with the far greater evil which would inevitably flow from a sudden and indiscriminate emancipation.’
State of Indiana, U.S. public relief program (1935-1943)
