Awards
In 1996, Stafford won a Soap Opera Digest Award for Outstanding Female Newcomer, and was nominated for a Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress. The following year, the actress won another Soap Opera Digest Award for Outstanding Villainess as well as winning the Daytime Emmy Award she was nominated for the previous year.
Stafford returned in 2000, prompting another Soap Opera Digest Award nomination in 2001 for Outstanding Female Scene Stealer, followed by two others for Outstanding Lead Actress in both 2003 and 2005. In 2004, the actress received another Daytime Emmy Award, however this time for Outstanding Lead Actress. At the 32nd Daytime Emmy Awards, Stafford and co-star Peter Bergman were nominated for the Special Fan Award for Irresistible Combination. Since then, the actress has received four additional Daytime Emmy nominations for Outstanding Lead Actress.
