Managerial Career
In April 2008, Cocu was offered a role as assistant coach of the Dutch national team. He also started to coach the youth teams of PSV at the start of the 2008-09 season, but was promoted to assistant manager of the senior squad after Huub Stevens left. On the 1st July a newspaper report linked him to the current vacant position of the Australian National Team.
