Philippine Science High School Central Mindanao Campus - Transfer To Permanent Site

Transfer To Permanent Site

The school year 2007-2008 was the first school year that classes were conducted in the campus' permanent site. During the transfer, only the academic building and a small canteen were present. The dormitories were not yet finished during the year so the dormitory was temporarily situated at TESDA, Ditucalan, Iligan City. The students were then transported to the school via school bus, as well as back to the dorm during afternoons. Currently, the dormitories are situated inside the school campus. Moreover, the academic building has been fully furnished. The administration building is currently under construction.

Famous quotes containing the words transfer, permanent and/or site:

No sociologist ... should think himself too good, even in his old age, to make tens of thousands of quite trivial computations in his head and perhaps for months at a time. One cannot with impunity try to transfer this task entirely to mechanical assistants if one wishes to figure something, even though the final result is often small indeed.
    Max Weber (1864–1920)

There is no permanent class of hired laborers amongst us. Twenty five years ago, I was a hired laborer. The hired laborer of yesterday, labors on his own account today; and will hire others to labor for him tomorrow. Advancement—improvement in condition—is the order of things in a society of equals.
    Abraham Lincoln (1809–1865)

It is not menstrual blood per se which disturbs the imagination—unstanchable as that red flood may be—but rather the albumen in the blood, the uterine shreds, placental jellyfish of the female sea. This is the chthonian matrix from which we rose. We have an evolutionary revulsion from slime, our site of biologic origins. Every month, it is woman’s fate to face the abyss of time and being, the abyss which is herself.
    Camille Paglia (b. 1947)
