Equipment
Campbell uses an LAG Explorer Signature model guitar both live and in the studio, fitted with two Seymour Duncan humbuckers and a single (volume) control. He also uses a Minarik Inferno Guitar on stage. He has also been known to play a Parker Nitefly, a Claymore custom, Kramer guitars, ESP guitars, and PRS guitars.
He also uses guitars built by luthier TC Ellis. So far, Ellis has built him a Les Paul-styled, a Stratocaster-styled, and one modeled after Lemmy's custom-built Rickenbacker 4004.
Like Lemmy, Phil uses Marshall Amplifiers and Cabinets when playing live, currently using two Marshall JVM410 heads. In the studio however he has been known to use Line 6 amps, Engl amplifiers, and Laboga Amps. Earlier in his career he occasionally played Gallien-Kruger amplifiers.

Famous quotes containing the word equipment:
“Why not draft executive and management brains to prepare and produce the equipment the $21-a-month draftee must use and forget this dollar-a-year tommyrot? Would we send an army into the field under a dollar-a-year General who had to be home Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays?”
—Lyndon Baines Johnson (19081973)
“At the heart of the educational process lies the child. No advances in policy, no acquisition of new equipment have their desired effect unless they are in harmony with the child, unless they are fundamentally acceptable to him.”
—Central Advisory Council for Education. Children and Their Primary Schools (Plowden Report)
“Pop artists deal with the lowly trivia of possessions and equipment that the present generation is lugging along with it on its safari into the future.”
—J.G. (James Graham)
