Peter Hewat (born 17 March 1978 in Inverell, New South Wales) is an Australian rugby union player now playing in Japan's Top League for Suntory Sungoliath. He previously played for the NSW Waratahs and London Irish. On 12 April 2010 it was confirmed that Hewat was leaving London Irish to go play in Japan.
