The Noggin Stamp
In 1994, Firmin provided an illustration for a British postage stamp (SG1804) featuring characters from Noggin the Nog. It was one of a set featuring characters from British children's literature. He produced further illustrations for the advertising campaign to publicise the set of stamps.

Famous quotes containing the word stamp:
“If she must teem,
Create her child of spleen, that it may live
And be a thwart disnatured torment to her!
Let it stamp wrinkles in her brow of youth,
With cadent tears fret channels in her cheeks,
Turn all her mothers pains and benefits
To laughter and contempt, that she may feel
How sharper than a serpents tooth it is
To have a thankless child!”
—William Shakespeare (15641616)
