Relationship With Proletkult

Pavel Lebedev-Polianskii, as chair of the organizing bureau for the national Proletkult argued that Narkompros, as a state organ, had responsibilities for the whole of society, whereas Proletkult asserted its autonomy as an organisation set up spefically for workers. However there was concern with "parallelism" - the situation which arose when similar work was carried out in parallel by different organisations. Famous quotes containing the words relationship with and/or relationship:

Some [adolescent] girls are depressed because they have lost their warm, open relationship with their parents. They have loved and been loved by people whom they now must betray to fit into peer culture. Furthermore, they are discouraged by peers from expressing sadness at the loss of family relationships—even to say they are sad is to admit weakness and dependency.
    Mary Pipher (20th century)

Guilt is a major roadblock to building a new life for yourself and to being an effective parent.
    Stephanie Marston (20th century)
