Pennsylvania Route 413

Pennsylvania Route 413 (PA 413) is a 31-mile (50 km) long, north–south state highway running from the PA/NJ state line on the Burlington-Bristol Bridge (outside of Bristol) to PA 611 in Bedminster Township in Bucks County. PA 413 is signed north–south and travels that direction for most of the route, but upon crossing the Burlington-Bristol Bridge & the New Jersey state line and continuing south to U.S. Route 130 in Burlington, New Jersey as New Jersey Route 413, the route is signed east–west despite its north–south direction.

Famous quotes containing the words pennsylvania and/or route:

The Republican Party does not perceive how many his failure will make to vote more correctly than they would have them. They have counted the votes of Pennsylvania & Co., but they have not correctly counted Captain Brown’s vote. He has taken the wind out of their sails,—the little wind they had,—and they may as well lie to and repair.
    Henry David Thoreau (1817–1862)

By a route obscure and lonely,
    Haunted by ill angels only,
    Where an eidolon, named Night,
On a black throne reigns upright,
I have reached these lands but newly
    From an ultimate dim Thule—
From a wild weird clime that lieth, sublime,
    Out of space—out of time.
    Edgar Allan Poe (1809–1849)
