2010 Closure
On 5 April 2010, it was announced on air that Pennine FM was to close at 10pm that day and the licence was to be handed back to Ofcom. Jonathan Gold was the last on-air presenter. The final show was at 18:00 and the final song played was Sleeping Satellite by Tasmin Archer. A test tone was heard immediately after the final sweeper.
