After His Hockey Career
Paul Higgins, after a serious injury related to work, hung up his skates and decided to settle down with his wife Maureen Higgins. The couple then had their eldest son Joshua Higgins, soon after daughter Courtney Higgins and later Katherine Higgins. For the most part they raised their family In Barrie, Ontario where they had grown to love it but always stated that " it was never truly home". Til this day Paul Higgins is an aspiration to all, he is a mentor to many young hockey players. He teaches them to love the game for what it is and nothing more. He will forever be a role model to hundreds of hockey players all around Canada. Paul and his family currently put their house in Barrie on the market and plan to move back East. (home) duh duh duh.
