Paul Gallagher (footballer)

Paul Gallagher (born 9 August 1984) is a Scottish footballer who plays for Leicester City.

Having been born in Glasgow, he was raised in the Higher Croft council estate in Blackburn. He began his career with Blackburn Rovers and spent time on loan with three different clubs while contracted to Rovers. They were Stoke City (twice), Preston North End and Plymouth Argyle. Gallagher was transferred to Leicester City in 2009 for an undisclosed fee. He has been capped once at international level by Scotland.
