Patrick Joseph McClure, AO, is a leader in the Third Sector in Australia.
McClure was appointed an Officer of the Order of Australia (AO) in 2003 for "services to the community through the development of social capital policy initiatives, and in the delivery of programs addressing social justice, welfare support, health and employment generation issues." He received an Australian Centennial Medal in 2001.
He was selected as an AFR-BOSS True Leader (2005) and was winner of the Equity Trustee's EQT CEO Awards for "Lifetime Achievement" recognizing "leadership excellence in the non-profit sector" (2002) He was a finalist in the Ernst and Young "Social Entrepreneur of the Year" (2002). He is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
