Paralympic Shooting - Classification System

Classification System

Only SH1 and SH2 classes are represented in the Paralympic Games, based on IPC Shooting Classification Rules and Regulations.

  • SH1 – Shooters able to support a gun without a stand
  • SH2 – Shooters requiring a gun support to shoot
  • SH3 – Blind Shooters (sights seek sound-emitting targets)

Sub-classifications A, B and C define wheelchair backrest height depending on back and pelvic strength per athlete.

Famous quotes containing the word system:

Hence, a generative grammar must be a system of rules that can iterate to generate an indefinitely large number of structures. This system of rules can be analyzed into the three major components of a generative grammar: the syntactic, phonological, and semantic components.
    Noam Chomsky (b. 1928)
