Famous quotes containing the word robinson:

But still he fluttered pulses when he said,
“Good-morning,” and he glittered when he walked.
    —Edwin Arlington Robinson (1869–1935)

Dark, marvelous, and inscrutable he moved on
Till down the fiery distance he was gone,
    —Edwin Arlington Robinson (1869–1935)

I watched him; and the sight was not so fair
As one or two that I have seen elsewhere:

A wreck, with hell between him and the end.
    —Edwin Arlington Robinson (1869–1935)
