Otavio Juliano (born 1972 in São Paulo) is a Brazilian filmmaker. He is the second of three children in a middle-class family of Italian descent. His father, Januário, is a lawyer and high-ranking civil servant. His mother, Marilena, is an educator. Juliano is a graduate of the UCLA School of Theater Film and Television, and currently divides his time between Brazil and Los Angeles. He married Luciana Ferraz, a Brazilian television producer in 2006.
