ISD 279-Osseo Area Schools is an award-winning school system in Hennepin County, Minnesota.ISD 279 provides free public education from the primary level to the secondary level in the following areas: Brooklyn Center, Brooklyn Park, Maple Grove, Osseo, Plymouth, Corcoran, Dayton and Hassan. District 279 is the fifth largest district in Minnesota, with a student population of approximately 20,500 in 2012. The superintendent is Kate Maguire.
