OCSA's enrollment is currently 760 students. OCSA is a minority/majority school in that female students outnumber male students by approximately 2.5 to 1. Over 50% of juniors and seniors are enrolled in AP (Advanced Placement) classes.


It has been rated an "A" school in the grading system that uses the Florida Comprehensive Assessment Test as its standard for six consecutive years, a 'Silver Medal' School by US News & World Report 2008, named an "American Top Public High School" by Newsweek 2009 and a "5 Star" school.
