Oscar is married to his childhood sweetheart, Ludmila, who is of Japanese descent. They regularly show their relationship via Instagram. Oscar is a practicing Catholic and prays before each game so that he can relax and find confidence for the match. He started taking English classes when he moved to London and became flat neighbors with teammate Juan Mata and Fulham midfielder Giorgos Karagounis upon his arrival at the club.
