Early Life
She was born in Rome as Francesca Romana Rivelli, to a Neapolitan father and Estonian mother. Her maternal grandparents immigrated from Leningrad (now Saint Petersburg), Russia, to Estonia. She has an older sister, Claudia (born 1951).
