Famous quotes containing the word hours:
“In those hours when history becomes terrible, it is as if the soul of woman seizes the moment and tries to set an example for the soul of man ... the soul of the French woman is really a heroic blend of family and homeland.”
—Victor Hugo (18021885)
“Thus he wastes half his days, and his hours without number,”
—Isaac Watts (16741748)
“...here he is, fully alive, and it is hard to picture him fully dead. Death is thirty-three hours away and here we are talking about the brain size of birds and bloodhounds and hunting in the woods. You can only attend to death for so long before the life force sucks you right in again.”
—Helen Prejean (b. 1940)
